#3 Humpback Whale

Humpback Whale  Acrylic On Canvas 16 by 24 inches

I started this piece last year about the same time I did a similar work featuring  a Blue Whale. It has a similar feel and texture to that painting but is a little bit smaller of a canvas. It feels good to be able to finish paintings now I don't have to prepare lesson plans and teach classes, I'm grateful everyday to have finally made that leap.
Like much of my recent acrylic work it is heavily textured with modelling paste, tissue paper and gel medium. Humpback Whale can be purchased through my website, (special price for this project.)
